Christer Sanne, author and researcher guested the first seminar of the seminar serie Den Reflekterande Ingenjören (The Reflective Engineer) arranged by SEEK, INUG and Think Globally Radio, April 8th. The lunch seminar attracted many curious engineers interested in understanding the relation of their gained knowledge into the context of sustainable local and global development.Christer held an interesting presentation comprising important sociological concepts such as the increase of wealth but lowering of experienced well-being in relation to the consumption oriented economy of todays Western world and uneconomic growth - where the benefit gained is inferior to the damage being done in ecosystem services which we are entirely depended on.
